Sales Support Assistant | Johnson City

Job Description

  • Support the sales team in pre-sale and post-sale process for technology solutions

  • Request pricing quotes from vendors

  • Accurately prepare customer proposals

  • Monitor and assist the sales team with open opportunities

  • Process a high volume of customer orders

  • Serve as liaison between customer, sales, technicians, operations and finance departments

  • Track important and confidential agreements between the company and the customers

  • Implement process improvements

  • Provide data and reports to track sales targets

  • Schedule appointments

  • Accurately and efficiently examine, unpack and verify incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.

  • Trace and track incoming orders to ensure timely delivery

  • Stage orders for delivery and shipping

  • Assisting in counting of physical inventory as required/needed

  • Process and respond to high volume of emails and phone calls

  • Other assigned tasks


Scope/Responsibility

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, communications, marketing or related field

  • General understanding of technology equipment/solutions


Experience/Qualification/Education

  • 1-3 years of sales or office administration experience

  • Knowledge of a Lead generation CRM program, accounting and reporting software; prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and GP a plus

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
