Tennessee Sales Tax HolidayTennessee will promote its next sales tax holiday in August, 2010. The holiday will start at 12:01 a.m. on August 6, 2010 and will end at 11:59 p.m. on August 8, 2010. During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:

  • Clothing with a price of $100 or less per item
  • School supplies with a price of $100 or less per item
  • Computers with a price of $1,500 or less per item
